Mildred & Richard Loving were history makers, due to the case of Loving v Virginia. Although their fight to live together, after marriage was a struggle because of their race, and at the time when they got married. Since, it was against the law to marry outside of one's race in the state of Virginia. However, after over coming many obstacles, The Lovings were victorious in their Landmark case, which acknowledged their marriage as valid, and allowed the couple to be together. There are, also several movies on the couples relationship, like Mr. & Mrs. Loving , Loving, and The Loving Story , but Despite, their troubles, The Lovings case has helped many Interracial Couples around the world to be able to marry someone who is of a different race without law interference.
